  • Muddle to mint: In the bottom of a Julep Cup or Strong Glass, gently rush the mint leaves with simple syrup to release the oil - to tear the leaves too much.
  • Add bourbon: Insert into the bourbon and briefly stir to combine with mint syrup.
  • Add ice: Fill the cup with generously crushed ice, a little valley from the top.
  • Stir and chill: Shake gently until it cools out of the cup.
  • Garnish and service: Garnish with a fresh mint branch. Serve with a small straw to enjoy the aroma with every sip.
