Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb (450g) 80/20 ground beef
  • 4 burger buns
  • 4 slices American cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Pickles, lettuce, onions (optional)
  • Burger sauce or ketchup, as desired

Instructions
 

  • Present beef: Divide the ground beef into four equal balls, about 4 ounces each. Do not pack them tightly; Keep them loose for the best texture.
  • Heat the pan: Keep a raw iron pan on high heat until it becomes very hot, then add a little vegetable oil.
  • Smash: Place a beef ball on the skillet and immediately break the flat using spatula, apply the pressure of the firm for 10 seconds to make a thin patty with crispy edges.
  • Season: Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  • Cook: Cook for about 2 minutes until the edges are brown and crisp, then flip.
  • Paneer: immediately place a piece of cheese at the top and cook another minute until melted.
  • Toast buns: While the patties finish, toast the buns in the skills for 30 seconds till golden.
  • Assembled: Add burger sauce or ketchup to the buns, then topped cheese patty, pickle, latus, or any topping.
  • Serve: Enjoy immediately for the best taste and texture.
