- 1 lb (450g) 80/20 ground beef
- 4 burger buns
- 4 slices American cheese
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- Pickles, lettuce, onions (optional)
- Burger sauce or ketchup, as desired
Present beef: Divide the ground beef into four equal balls, about 4 ounces each. Do not pack them tightly; Keep them loose for the best texture.
