Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz (225g) cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup (115g) unsalted butter, softened
  • 2½ to 3 cups (300–360g) powdered sugar, sifted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Defeated cream cheese and butter: In a large bowl, smooth and alcoholic (about 2-3 minutes) use an electric mixer to defeat soft cream cheese and butter.
  • Add vanilla and salt: Mix in vanilla extracts and if used a pinch of salt.
  • Add powder sugar: Gently add sugar, in cup with sufted powder at once, beaten until the desired sweetness and stability is attained.
  • Chil (optional): If the frosting is too soft, chill in the fridge for 15-20 minutes before using.
