Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced (optional)
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • Pinch of salt (adjust to taste)
  • Pinch of nutmeg (optional)

Instructions
 

  • In a medium saucepan on medium heat, melt the butter. If used, add minced garlic and step for 30 seconds until aromatic.
  • Pour into heavy creams, whisper to combine. Just bring for a gentle boil - don't boil.
  • Reduce the heat until completely melts and smooth, and slowly stir in the permene cheese.
  • Using a season, a pinch of salt, and nutmeg with black pepper. Stir to mix the flavor.
  • Boil gently for 2-3 minutes until a little thick.
  • Remove from heat and serve immediately on your favorite pasta, chicken or vegetables.
