For the Dough:

  • ¾ cup warm milk (110°F)
  • tsp active dry yeast
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg + 1 egg yolk, room temperature
  • ¼ cup melted butter
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ tsp salt

For the Filling:

  • cup brown sugar, packed
  • tbsp ground cinnamon
  • ¼ cup softened butter

For the Glaze:

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk or cream
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Activate the yeast: In a large bowl, add warm milk and yeast. Sit to the foam until sitting for 5-10 minutes.
  • Make flour: Add sugar, eggs, melted butter, flour and salt. Mix until a sticky flour is formed. Knead for 8-10 minutes to smooth and elastic.
  • First Uday: Place the dough in an enlarged bowl, cover, and let it get up for 1-1 hours or till it doubles in size.
  • Prepare to fill: Add brown sugar and cinnamon.
