  • 1 ripe avocado, sliced
  • 1 small tomato, thinly sliced
  • ½ small red onion, thinly sliced
  • ¼ cup shredded carrots (optional)
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise or hummus
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard (optional)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh lemon or lime juice, for drizzling

Instructions:

  1. Wash the lettuce thoroughly and dry.
  2. Keep each leaf flat and spread a small amount of mayonnaise or hummus in the center.
  3. Place a piece of turkey on each leaf.
  4. Top with avocado slices, tomatoes, red onion, and chopped carrots.
  5. To prevent browning, drip a little lemon or lime juice over the avocado.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
