  • 8 thick, sturdy rosemary stems (about 6–8 inches long)
  • 1 lb (450g) chicken breast, beef cubes, lamb, or shrimp
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Juice of 1 lemon (or 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar)
